Trump threatens to pull ICE out of California over its sanctuary policy

President Trump has let it be known that he’s considering “pulling federal immigration officers and Border Patrol out of California” because of the state’s obdurate opposition to federal agents enforcing immigration policy.

“As a ‘sanctuary state,’ California has openly refused to comply with federal immigration policy and report illegal immigrants residing in their state, thus putting themselves at odds with the Trump administration and their crackdown on immigration.”

President Trump predicted that soon after California finds itself without federal immigration agents it will be “begging for us to come back” because “you would see crime like no one’s ever seen crime in this country.”
